Cadbury Chocolate in Australia To Launch New Flavours
They have successfully embarked upon their ‘Joyville’ marketing campaign. Significantly changed the packaging and weight of some of their most loved products. And also made notable stride towards the increased incorporation of Fairtrade Certified™ chocolate.
In addition their product portfolio has been freshened up as well. With Cadbury’s Marvellous Creations and Cadbury Crispello being amongst a number of new products introduced to the market. While old favourites like Berry Fruit Shortcake and White bubbly have been phased out.
Cadbury Chocolate New Products
This trend of new product launches is set to continue with the introduction of a range of new flavours from the Cadbury brand of Chocolate.
These include limited edition Cadbury Cherry Ripe and Picnic blocks. As well as Cadbury Dairy Milk Strawberries & Creme, Cadbury Dairy Milk Toffee Brittle and Cadbury Dairy Milk Crackle. The brand has also confirmed it will be bringing back the fan favourites Black Forest.
Supporting this will be a redesign of the packaging to introduce ‘joycons’. A play on the brand’s key positioning of ‘joy’ and ‘icon’.
Fashioned to celebrate each individual flavour, they have been created in the hope of increasing visibility on the shelves of supermarkets and retail outlets.
Furthermore Cadbury will also be commencing a four-month long winter initiative to create a discussion around flavour preferences with their consumer base through social media.
Essentially they will attempt to challenge consumers to trial all these different flavours while clearly championing their favourite too.
With over 500,000 Facebook followers in Australia there are some high hopes for major traction. As they will be encouraged to ‘curate their own joyful content’ on social media which will bring to life the personalities of each the flavours.
Cadbury will then use the content in television advertisements which are planned to be broadcast later in the Autumn.
Created by Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney, a commercial will soon hit our TV screens to promote this launch. It features an army of different brands of Cadbury blocks lined up in the street to create a ‘giant domino rally’.
It seeks to bring ‘the joy of Cadbury Dairy Milk into the real world’. As residents of the street pick up and enjoy their favourite flavours.
