A Customer Review Like This Makes It All Worth It!
I received a lovely customer review email today from a wedding website. Although they were clearly intent on getting me to advertise with them they brought something to my attention that really brought a smile to my face.
All businesses are out to make money. But the key component in doing this is ensuring you make your customers happy. So when you get a customer review to the effect that you have done just that it is something to be very proud of.
In their email the company highlighted to me a review that one of my customers had submitted to them. It was of their overall online shopping experience with Moo-Lolly-Bar and read:
‘Moo-Lolly-Bar supplied the lollies for my lolly buffet – good price with free shipping. One of my selected flavours weren’t available when we ordered but Moo-Lolly-Bar customer service, had excellent communication skills and kept me in the loop, and provided me with potential other options if my selection hadn’t arrived’.
A clever marketing ploy it might be (they said they couldn’t post the review on their site because they had no advertisement to connect it with). But a genuine comment it was also. I checked the name of the reviewer against our order log. Sure enough we had supplied her with an an order of $274.60 of lollies for a buffet for her wedding.
Customer service is something I take very seriously at Moo-Lolly-Bar. And I strongly believe world class customer service should be a firmly fixed rule, not an exception.
That said it is always nice to hear a customer review. Especially if it is from happy customers whose confectionery needs we have successfully met. After all they can often be your best sales people.
