SHIPPING & RETURNS
At Moo-Lolly-Bar we send all orders of our Belgian chocolates via Border Express.
We believe they are the safest, most reliable and cost effective way of dispatching our chocolates to customers in a warm weather country like Australia.
Orders can be delivered to any residential of business address in Australia.
This includes all major cities, the furthest and most remote part of every state and everywhere in between.
Once the order has been dispatched you will receive an email with a tracking number that will allow you to monitor the progress of your order online.
CALCULATING THE COST OF POSTAGE AND PACKAGING
At Moo-Lolly-Bar, if you place an order for our Belgian chocolates worth $150 or more, we will ship your order to you anywhere in Australia (except PO Boxes) for free.
If the value of your order is less than $150 however, then the cost of postage is a flat fee of $15.
At Moo-Lolly-Bar all the Belgian chocolates we offer are made to order from our suppliers.
This means we do not have stock on hand.
By operating on an ‘order in basis’ we can provide you with the freshest and best quality of product as possible.
Typically it takes between 24-72 hours for the chocolates to be made and sent to you.
Sometimes however it might be the case that the chocolates take a little longer to source. Especially during public holidays and peak times of the year like Christmas or Easter.
Should this be the case we will endeavour to inform you via email of the expected date of dispatch – as soon as we have that confirmed to us by the manufacturer.
All orders are dispatched from the manufacturing facility on the Gold Coast in Queensland.
Whilst the delivery time depends very much on how far you live from the Gold Coast typically you can expect to receive them to be as follows:
– Queensland (1-3 days)
– NSW (1-3 days)
– ACT (2-3 days)
– Vic (3-5 days)
– SA (3-5 days)
– NT (5-7 days)
– WA (5-7 days)
– Tas (5-7 days)
All these timeframes are from the day the order is sent to you.
However these are subject to change during periods of extreme weather events or natural disasters where access to roads might be limited.
In most cases orders will be delivered to you between business hours – typically between 8am and 5pm.
In the event of you not being home at the time of delivery your order should either be left on your doorstep or dropped off at the local Border Express depot, at the discretion of the driver.
(A card will be left with instructions on how to rearrange delivery time should the latter happen).
When placing your order and advising of your delivery address it might be an idea to have it sent to your place of work or to an address where you can guarantee someone will be in to collect it.
N.B. If your order is of an urgent nature, say for a wedding, birthday or party, or you require delivery by a specific date, please email email@example.com in the first instance to let us know of the date you require it by. We will then confirm with you if we are able to meet this deadline before requesting you place the order.
The reason we ask you to do this is because we cannot be held accountable for failure to dispatch your order in time for a specific date if you do not make us aware of your desire for us to do so before you place the order.
Border Express is a completely independent organisations to Moo-Lolly-Bar to which we have no direct operating control over.
For this reason we cannot and will not accept responsibility for any delays, errors or failures of delivery by either of them. We will however always work with the customer to ascertain the status of their orders whilst it is in transit.
As Moo-Lolly-Bar operates on an ‘order in basis’ we do not have stock on hand.
This business model is designed to provide you with a fresher and better quality of product.
We have been led to believe by our supplier that all the products outlined in this website will be produced for us with 24-72 hours of our demand.
However, on occasion, due to circumstances beyond Moo-Lolly-Bar’s control this may not prove to be the case.
Therefore if your order is of an urgent nature or you require it for a specific date i.e. a wedding or event please let us know via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) at the time of placing it.
This will enable us to confirm we can supply you with the products in time for that date.
Unless you tell us prior to our dispatching of the order to you we will have no way of knowing when you need it for.
AS A RESULT MOO-LOLLY-BAR ENFORCES A POLICY THAT ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
By placing an order with Moo-Lolly-Bar you automatically agree to this.
In view of this we will not entertain a request for return or refund if you failed to inform us via email before placing an order that you need it for a specific date.
As a general rule, because of our ‘order-in’ policy we will not offer a refund for orders where you simply change your mind.
We will also not offer a refund if your event is cancelled or cannot go ahead for any reasons.
On a case by case basis we may offer you a refund in special circumstances.
Should this be the case, please note refunds can take up to 6 weeks to be issued to you.
